Just wanted to give a quick update to all who are partnering with us in prayer. The purpose of this blog as James and I have mentioned in the video is to have a group of people who pray for us daily and will continue to do so until we return home. We would not make it without you guys. Period.
A few things to be thankful for...
- We have had favor in searching for plane tickets.
- Our stateside "contact" apparently has connections with the embassy that we are getting visas from. This will not only speed up the process, but also make it much easier to get our visas.
- We are encouraged by how many have spoken with us personally about partnership both financially and spiritually.
A few things to pray for...
- Pray that we receive the visas we need with no complications.
- Pray that the Lord continues to guide our feet as we walk towards our trip in January.
- Pray that James and I keep our eyes on the Lord and that we not become distracted by this mission. It is easy to let this become an identity or a place where we gain approval and praise from others. Pray that the Lord absolutely destroys that in our hearts. Making much of God is the reason we are doing this. Nothing else.
Throughout this journey we want to be as real as possible with everyone who supports us. This is why it is important for you to follow us. We need your prayers! Even now as we prepare to go we need you praying for us.
We are beyond blessed to have each and every one of you behind us. Thank you for partnering with us.
